Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Board: Craig Appeal

This appeal involves a claim for unemployment benefits by Annette Craig, a former FedEx Ground driver.  Craig appealed the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Service Center ruling from January 2007 that she was a contractor and not eligible for benefits. 

The Unemployment Compensation Review Board found, "The claimant was not engaged in an independent established trade or occupation."  The Board reversed the previous ruling in June 2007 and found Craig to be a statutory employee.
